This is the crochet challenge by b.hookedcrochet for Warm Up America! Foundation that’s running for the month of August, 2015. It’s a solid granny square pattern but with up to 9 accent colors. I used Soft Navy for the main (background) color and the 5 other colors as the accent colors. The afghan is 7 blocks x 9 blocks. The colors do NOT show up as pretty as they do in real life. The “yellow” squares are actually gold! And the pale yellow squares aren’t that pale IRL.

Finished Size: 50” wide x 64” long (7 blocks x 9 blocks).

8/9/15: 23 blocks
8/10/15: 23 blocks + 6 rows joined
8/11/15: 17 blocks plus 3 rows joined and 2 columns joined. (I’m slip stitching the blocks together on the wrong side through the outside loops so there’s a “line” on the right side on the edge of each square)
8/12/15: 5 columns joined; 3 roundss of sc edging (first row was through the back loops to maintain the “line” around the squares).
8/13/15: 1 round of hdc
