I’ve been trying to find the right project for this wonderful set of yarn since I first spotted it on Krista’s Flickr account. I left out the Green Ochre and instead used the handspun since I thought it just harmonized with the other colors a bit better.

This shawl is so lusciously soft, I wil have to indulge in these blends more often.

As to the pattern: it’s brilliant. The stripes are so striking, and so cleverly constructed. I love seeing all the finished photographs to see how so many different knitters have chosen to play with color. It feels like each one is unique even when people use similar colors.
