Using Jenny’s stretchy cast-on (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3n8E3I6Cg2k&feature=yo...) cast on 60 stitches (15 per needle) on 4 dp sock needles sized 3 mm.
Round 1: k1, p1
Round 2-4: knit
Round 5-30: k4, p1
Round 31: decrease 1 sts on each needle (k4, p1, k1, ssk, k1, p1, k4, p1) = 14 sts per needle
Rounds 32-45: k4 p1 k3 p1 k4 p1
Knit the heel with needles 1 and 4 (decrease to 13 sts per needle). Knit 30 rows of heel flap.
Pick up 16+1 plus 11/2-> 5 eli 21. Decrease first one on row 0.
Decreases on rows:
3..6…10….15…..21……28
19-18-17-16-15-14 sts
Knit pattern on needles 3 and 4 (top of foot),
knit stockinette on needles 1 and 2 (bottom of foot).
And on row 30 decrease one sts on each needle and continue knitting with 13 sts per needle: (first sts of 1st needle, middle sts of needles 2 and 3, last sts of 4th needle). Continue with k4 p1 k2 p k4 p1 -pattern on 3rd and 4th needle.
On row 50, change color. Start toe decreases on row 55:
“Nauhakavennus”
Decrease 4 on row 55 (2 rows knit) 58 (2 rows knit) 61 (2 rows knit) 64 (1 row knit) 66 (1 row knit) 68 (1 row knit) and 70-74.
I didn’t like the pointy toe at all so I frogged until I had 14 sts per needle on 2 needles and grafted them together:
