Notes

09/21/2012:
This will be my favorite winter wrap all in shawl. :D I’ve just finished section 3 first half for the first time and my 120cm circular is already (more than) fully used. Hope that it’ll be long enough for the whole thing.
Still working with the first skein of Wollmeise DK Aquarius (total weight: 221g).

09/23/2012:
Since yesterday I’ve a second project (Rill Scarf) to compensate for the long, long rows of the Bolting. :D But I managed to make a pic of the Bolting as it is right now (that’s after Sec3.1). The color is not as light as shown in the pic. Today I’ll go on with it.
105.8g left from the first skein.

09/28/2012:
Section 3.2 done and still knitting with skein 1, though this will change soon. 20 minutes needed for one purl row.

10/01/2012:
End of the second row section 3.3: Second skein. :)

10/18/2012:
Finally, after weeks of symposia and much work, I managed to go on with my beloved Bolting! I’ve finished section 3.3 and I’ve nearly 91g left of the second overweight skein Wollmeise DK. Pic shows nearly the right color this time.

10/19/2012:
3 first rows of section 4 = 20g yarn. Thus, I’ll have to use 20-25g of the third skein. All skeins are overweight! So in total it will most likely be around 460-470g in the end. We’ll see.

10/20/2012:
Only 5 rows to go! These I’ll do tomorrow. 27.27g left from skein 2. Thus, around 415g used as both skeins weighted 221g.

10/21/2012:
3 rows to go, 12.75g left of second skein.
2 rows to go, 5.4g left of second skein.
1 row to go, third skein started at the end of the second last row. And… Oh, no! I’m already feeling something similar toa post-bolting depression similar to what some people told me about their feelings after they finished the Nuvem.
BO with needle size 6mm.

Needed a 1,40x2,00 m bed for drying. :D Want it to be dry noooow. So excited!

Final weight: I used two full overweight skeins of Wollmeise DK. Together they weighted 442g. Needed 19g of a third skein for the last 1.5 rows and BO. In total the shawl weights around 461g.
Thus, I’ve enough yarn left (a full normal weighted skein) to make fitting mitts and a hat. :)

Final measurements: 232 x 65 cm.
