I’m a tight knitter when it comes to purl stitches and a medium to loose knitter when it comes to knit stitches. So, those who knit similarly and want it to have a bigger shawl should think about either bigger needles or more repeats.

While making the last row of the body you might want to get rid of all those stitch markers. For the border you’ll only need the markers around the middle stitch.

For the border I used a stitch marker that can be used to mark stitches (with an opening to pull it out later). I marked the last garter ridge of each repeat. This way I could easily count the rows of the next repeat. good to avoid mistakes. :)
