I knit this with a single strand of bulky yarn instead of two strands of DK.

My gauge in stockinette was 3.5 sts = 1” instead of 3.75 sts = 1” so I knit the S/M size for a hat to fit L/XL (22-23” head circumference).

• S/M circumference in stockinette in my gauge = 19.5” (68 sts)
• S/M circumference in stockinette = 18” (68 sts)
• L/XL circumference in stockinette = 19.25” (72 sts)

Measurements:

• Circumference: 15” (unstretched)
• Circumference in Stockinette: 19.5” (68 sts)
• Total Length: 10.5”
• Length with Brim Folded 1.5”: 9”
