Solid granny squares on front of cushion based on instructions in Mollie Makes issue 24, with placement of chain 3 etc adjusted to minimise the obvious seam the original caused.
Back of cushion in simple repeating pattern of stripes.
Made in Stylecraft Special DK in white, pale rose and grape.

The pattern for this is pretty simple - granny squares of any pattern in three different colours within the same colour family: white/light, medium and dark. As the final picture shows - you just alternate rows of dark and medium coloured squares with rows of medium and white/light coloured squares.
