This is an excellent pattern but I don’t knit. So I am crocheting sideways. I am also using the techniques found in “Reversible Color Crochet” by Laurinda Reddig. I am using half double crochet throughout. The result so far looks great and is reversible.
August 21st. Good progress.
October 3rd, finished! Made one repeat only of the the graph from page 4 of the pattern. The dimensions of the body was 39”x61”.
Added border of 2 rows of rose and white in half-double crochet, then a modified version of strip side one of “stunning” : blue, rose, white, rose. Then 1 row of rose in half-double crochet and 1 row of slip stitch to strengthen the edge. Final dimensions 46.5”x68.5”.
Eyes added to both sides. Eyes made by 12 double crochet in magic ring center. Both sides sewn on at once.
