Knit with 4.5mm needles until piece is 7inches. Switched to 3.75mm needles for waist shaping.
I’ve decided to just continue the rest of the cardigan with 3.75 mm needles because it’s quite large still. Last thing I want is a big baggy cardigan.
Increased length to armholes to 14” instead of 13”.

Using 3.25 DPN’s for sleeves. After sleeve shaping increases, switched to 3.75mm needles. Planning on making this a full length sleeve.
Sleeve = 20” long

Worked until 18.5” before starting neckline shaping.

Picked up 120 sts using 3.25mm for button band

knit neckband in 1x1 ribbing as I’m not fond of garter stitch for a neckband.
