I just learned to crochet about a month ago - from library books and youtube videos! Luckily, this pattern is relatively quick and easy! :)

8/7/10 - started with 300 chains (used I hook for that), want to try to make every color different in the entire blanket, two rows per color

8/11/10 - I’m just starting my 7th color, rows take about 30 minutes to complete

8/16/10 - Just finished my 12th color, I love it! I’m worried the burgandy might be too dark but hopefully it’ll lighten up after a few more stripes.

8/30/10 - Just starting my 29th color. I am so in love with this pattern! It’s getting hot to work on though, lol!

10/26/10 - Just finished my 58th color. It’s cooler now so I’ve really been enjoying working on it! We’ve decided to put it on our bed so I’m going to make it a total of 100 stripes then add 3 borders! My goal is to have it finished by Christmas - I’ll be crocheting lots until then, lol!

11/21/10 - Finished!!! Details & pictures to come soon! :)
