Followed Flicka Fish’s modifications to the v and I loved her change of garter to the ribbing.

Loved using the Pima from Cascade, a nice change from wool and I was amazed at how well this handled repeated frogging since it took awhile for me to decide exactly how I wanted to use this yarn. I will definitely use it again. Used 6s for the body and 4s for the edging.

I also trimmed the inside of the sweater with a polka-dot Japanese linen tape. By covering the picked up edging it tidied everything on the inside and gives the sweater a little more structure - especially with the garter stitch edging.

The size six is pretty much spot on for my average sized boy, though I did knit the sleeve a smidge longer as that tends to be the first spot they outgrow. The size six pattern does not call for sleeve decreases, I think I will do them the next time I knit this pattern.

All in all, one of my favorite knits.
