3/12/12 update: The top two new pics were taken almost a year after the others. She is still tiny around her chest and shoulders, and she still loves wearing it! I will be sharing an optional modification update in the pattern page very soon to explain how I cinched the neck so the fact it is still 5” of positive ease on her doesn’t mean it falls off her shoulders. I should have followed my own advice and made one size smaller in the first place. Kinda silly considering I wrote the pattern, but I guess I expected her to get wider, not just taller ;) ! That is what the CYC standards say, but as we all know kids grow in their very own crazy ways!

This is a 24 month version of my “Baby Hepburn Crop” design. It is a little big on Lil One b/c she tends to be taller than she is wide, so even though she wears a 24 mo. - 2T when it comes to length, she’s really 18 mo. size around her chest (the dress is an 18 mo. size). My daughter loves the soft alpaca and seems very comfortable running around in the cool spring weather with her new sweater. I am very happy with the way this came out - I wish I had one for myself! I used the “Spa” again (which is also used in the My First Princess Dress pattern I just finished) to trim this, and as I was working I found myself really in love with the “Berry Frappe” color. I may have to find a dk pattern for myself to use this color!
