I was looking for a fun, quick and easy project for a CAL I may do this fall and I saw “hungryknitter” had done a great looking mobius cowl, so I decided to check it out. It was really easy to set up and get going, and of course really nice to work because there are no rows! The malabrigo really shines in this project because the stich pattern seemed to blend it and give it a real water color look, or like a bit of a Monet painting!
I chained 120 sts. to start, but I think for just a touch more ease getting it wrapped nicely I might go with more like 130 or 140 next time. I could have stopped at one skein’s worth, but since I had a second, I decided to make it a little wider and more cozy. That’s what I like about the method though - it’s very flexible.
