Notes

This is a free pattern I designed for Rowan. :) For detailed advice on the stitch and seaming, visit my blog!

The pattern is written to seam 3 sides inside-out and then finish the 4th short side with mattress stitch. In retrospect, I recommend seaming the long sides inside out (be careful to match up the pattern!) and do both short sides in mattress stitch.

Project name is tongue-in-cheek -- we say pillow in the US not ‘cushion’ like in the UK. But it’s Rowan, and I’m not complaining, I love that they published my pattern, so cool. :)

See RachaB’s lovely version to find out how easy it is to make a bigger pillow. Just keep knitting to double the length! :)
