Notes

23Nov09: I used the leftover sock yarn to make the sweetest set of baby socks for Baby Walonoski. The pattern is Baby Eyelet Socks, by Cynthia Hall, from her Pickin’ and Throwin’ blog. I had absolutely zero yarn left. Woohoo! As to the pic: yeah yeah, he’s cleaning and I… uh… am not… oops.

18Nov09: They fit great! Definitely a lot of mistakes in the pattern. If I’m feeling philanthropic I’ll write to Knitty…

To borrow from Swimmingly’s excellent descriptive technique: these socks have been knit all over Switzerland, in Berlin, in the various terrible cafeterias of McGill, and in West and North Philly.

05Oct09: First sock finished.

02Oct09: I needed a small project to carry around while travelling, duh. Yeah, I know, I’m not really a sock person, but these are looking very pretty.
