I’m using DK rather than 4ply so after swatching on 3.5mm and getting a guage of 25.5sts and 36 rows - 10cm in pattern have decided to knit the XS in order to end up with a S.
I knitted this in the round - well, as in the round as a cardigan can be - and seamlessly using EZs seamless set in sleeve sweater pattern. It’s the first time I’ve done this seamless set in sleeve and I think it’s great.
I got a bit stuck when I got to the top of the sleeve head when EZ says to work back and forth when you have 10 stitches of sleeve between your markers. With some digging on the forums I figured out that the front is the front (duh!) and the decrease should be on the sleeve side of the marker - basically you’re not knitting across the sleeve head any more otherwise it will turn out all puffy, but are still doing the decreases.
I didn’t do any short rows on the back.
Used buttons from my stash - I didn’t have 7 the same, so used a mix of same colour and sized ones - just to be eclectic!
