Notes

Easily my favorite item ever knit! i was nervous when i began this project and it is the most challenging item i have ever knit, but it turned out just perfect and all the time and concentration i put into this really created a beautiful garment. i definitely reccomend using markers ever repeat the entire way theu to help catch any mistakes and know where you are if you get distracted…lots of liflines as well. i had to frog quite a few rows but like i said, it was worth it. i learned not to pay attention to tv or have more than one beer if i was working on this and it knit much more smoothly :)

Frogged and cast on again 7/28/13.

I am crossing my fingers with this one. It looks pretty difficult while reviewing other people’s notes on this pattern. I know my mom will love it though so I am going for it!

I began with Brooklyn tweed, long john color, but sent my 2nd skein back and switched to madelinetosh when the Brooklyn tweed kept breaking on me. It was very thin in many places and it would just snap. I didn’t want to put a lot of time and effort into a project that would just unravel with breakage.
