This hat ran small for me so I went up needle size and added 4 stitches for the ribbing. I started a different one that was brown and pink with fixation that I had. It was the first one I made that was too small so I know it had nothing to do with not using the fixation for this hat.

It is a lot of fun to make. One of my students ended up with a sort of rib happening in the upper hat part of the hat because she was pulling a little too tight on the fair isle floats. We decided it still looked fine, just a “design” decision.
