The cuff was pretty straight forward. Grab a ball of yarn. Use for a row or two. Grab another ball of yarn.
Choosing the colours for the body of the mitten took a little more fussy work. I ended up switching out the background colour and rearranging the colour order a few times before settling on this arrangement.
Once all picked out, I went to the extra effort and redrew the chart and coloured it to reflect my yarn choices. It made the actual knitting much more mindless and enjoyable.
After finishing these mittens, someone suggested felted joins at the colour changes rather than having all those ends to work in. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say.
