Edited pattern as follows:

Changed round 1 to help this block lay flat: substituted 16 dc’s for the 16 tr’s

Changed round 9 to make the block more square: instead of 3 dc’s in corner, work (2dc, ch 3, 2dc) in corner

Ended block on round 9.
