Had yarn left after knitting Zorzal shawl, so decided to knit a hat. The stripes echo the stripes in that shawl.

I knit this pattern once before, and based on my notes, I decided to cast on 70 sts, not 80, and use smaller needles, 2.25mm vs 2.75mm.

The hat is knit sideways with some short rows. I am one of those who actually like to graft stitches, so the prospect of 70 Kitchener stitches is no problem. :) It is not the longest graft I have ever done.
