For Winter 2008 Charlotte Purls KAL. (I didn’t want to do mittens, so I’m doing gloves instead) :-)

Using fair isle yarn weaving technique a la Philosophers Wool.
(Middle couple of pics are the inside of the gloves.)

12/12 - Casting on 64 sts instead of 72.
(48 sts will remain after chart decreases - eliminate decreases at hand.)

12/12 - stopped at row 37 of chart.
12/13 - stopped at row 55 of chart.

Ugh! OK, these are a tad too tight - they fit fine on my wrist when on, but it’s a struggle to get them on over my hand. So…. I’m frogging the whole thing and starting over. I think since I went down a needle size and reduced the number of stitches I made them too small. So I’ll stick with the smaller needle size but do the pattern cast on.
12/14 - made it back to row 60 of chart. They are fitting much better!
12/16- working on second glove prior to finishing the first, since I’m concerned about running out of yarn. stopped at row 26 of chart.
12/17- finished chart on second glove.
12/18 - adding cut-off fingers to the gloves. Running out of thebreeze, so I’m tipping the fingers off with the peacock color. Hopefully I’ll have just enough of the breeze left to get the bases of all the fingers set up.
taking 7 sts from each side for each finger, and casting on 3 sts in between to bridge the gaps.

12/26 - essentially finished. just have all the ends to weave in. Ended up with only about 4 yards of the Breeze left.
12/28 - still weaving in ends. omg I hate weaving ends! 18+ ends per glove.
12/30 - done!!
