I’m so excited that I can finally share this project! :) This was my largest project to date and was a gift for my cousin’s wedding. They both love sea turtles and are getting married at an aquarium at the beach! So exciting!

The hexagonal elements of this design were from the free Ocean Hexi Series by Trifles N Treasures. Sea turtle modification and blanket layout design by me.

This started out as a small-ish project, but when I thought I was nearly finished I realized my “throw blanket” was entirely too small! When I dived into planning a little better, it grew to 3 times the original size! A 112-hour labor of love, and it was hard to see it go after all that time. :)
