Was VERY frustrated at the end of this project.

Was knitting the head on Christmas Eve and ran out of yarn way before the end, even though I’d bought absolutely the recommended amount of yarn, used the recommended needles and usually don’t have a particularly loose gauge.

I had to rip back and reknit the head, missing out one of the 6 rounds before starting the head decreases and three of the rounds between the decreases. That gave me just enough yarn to finish the head, but not enough to use any white for the eyes. You can imagine how much I was cursing this pattern at 3 am on Christmas morning.

I’ve given the pattern 2 stars because it really is touch and go whether you will have enough yarn. If you’re using the Blue Sky Alpacas I recommend skipping one or two of the bottom purl rounds just to make sure.
