  • I tried felting it in the wash, but it seemed to do very little to it besides soften the nose. So I tossed it in the sink and brushed it with my scrubber to make it softer.
  • Sewed on eyes closer to nose than where pattern indicated
  • Antlers mis-match not on purpose, but I like it
  • Had some brown powered dye so I put some in a small dip bowl with hot water and vinegar and used a make-up brush to paint the deer coloring. Use a reference photo to try and make it accurate. Colors bled a little bit and I think if I were to do it over I’d wait for the head to dry completely before painting.
  • Added in wire to the antlers to shape and hold them better
