I was browsing crocheted snowflakes on flickr and stumbled on one of allicats pictures of a snowflake in progress. (This one.) It dawned on me that these little center rings of snowflakes are stitch markers waiting to be created. So I sat down to try it out and lo and behold…it works!
I especially love that they are completely snag-less being as they’re made entirely of crochet thread. Perfect for the delicate lace-weight alpaca I’m knitting right now.
