I knit these to test the cables in intarsia (my first ever try with intarsia!) for the sleeves (narrower cable than the waist) and hood (same cable as the waist but with a knitted-on i-cord edge) of my Herne Rustic Jacket/Cardigan. The eventual jacket/hoodie will not be red and white - this just happened to be some yarn that I have in my left-overs.
