Making this as part of the Knit-Along-Test-Along for the Axiom pattern by Hada’s Little Corner. KAL’s thread to be found here
Sept 21: Halfway through to the sleeves separation. It’s slow progress with that fine yarn and lace pattern but I already like the look of it.
Sept 24: Separated the sleeves today. Looking great so far. Can’t try it on unfortunately as the needles are not long enough.
Sept 26: After doing a few rows on the body, I followed JeepGirl’s suggestion and passed a thread through the stitches, removed the needles and tried it on. It fits perfectly, so happy! I’ll keep the thread in as a lifeline too.
Oct. 2: Finished the waist decreases and tried it on. Looks great already. Finished the sleeves before putting the needles back on the body section. Starting waist increases now.
Oct. 7: Done! Finished all the knitting and ends have been woven in. Will soak and block it tomorrow but I’m already very happy with it. Awesome pattern!
Mods done:
_ Added one row of waist decreases and increases
_ Omitted the pleats
Yardage is only a very rough estimate. The yarn is a combination of three different super-fine yarns found in my grand mother’s attic so I have no real idea of the yardage.
