My very first attempt at socks, back in the day. A friend wanted a pair in rainbow colors and I found this cute yarn, so I went for it. Since I crocheted instead of knitted, the colors ended up in a patchwork formation instead of stripes, and I ate through more yarn than expected. This meant that I ran out of yarn (!!) at the last part and (being in a pinch) had to do the bottom half of one foot in one colored yarn. Sigh. However, they DID fit perfectly and were rather comfortable to wear, so I didn’t frog them. Live and learn.
