24/11/14- frogged this today as I wasn’t happy with the pattern definition I was getting using the 8mm hook. There was no guidance on the yarn label so I just guessed at using an 8mm hook, but having nearly finished the shawl and realising it was no where near large enough it was obvious something was amiss. So I bought a 10mm hook today, start the pattern again and will see how it works out this time!

26/11/14 - Finished this project and this time I am much happier with the results. It has come out smaller than I expected even with the larger hook size but because of the bulkiness of the yarn, on reflection this is the perfect size for this shawl pattern.
