Notes

Love this yarn. It’s so soft and smooth that I can’t believe there isn’t silk content. The colors work wonderfully together.

6/6/08 - I’ve finished knitting up one skein of the yarn. I was able to knit a swatch and just shy of eleven repeats of the shawl out of the first skein. I’m aiming for 13 repeats plus the edging, I think.

6/19/08 - Finished! It did end up being 13 repeats plus the edging. I have enough yarn left over (39 g or 1.4 oz) that two skeins probably could have made 14 repeats of the lace pattern. Now, I just need to block it. Pre-blocked, it measures 50.5 x 21 inches.

I’m afraid I forgot to measure it post-blocking before giving it away to a friend in honor of her wedding. She’s of Scottish decent and her favorite color is silver-blue, therefore this combination of yarn and the Scottish lace pattern.

I knit this as part of Shetland Triangle Knit-a-long started by the Sundara Love Group.
