Picked up yarn tonight. Could have used stash yarn but I know this toy is going to be dragged all over the house so I opted for Hobby Lobby acrylic.

Crossing my fingers this goes well. I’m most nervous about the leg portion - it looks like it’s difficult to get the proportion and edges right on the toy.

7/10/11: After putting it off for awhile, I finally cast on for this project. I’ve finished the head socket and the face knitting - just attached face portion to head socket, still need to kitchener them together. Used provisional cast on successfully, I think. :)

Now that it’s started, hopefully this is not put on hold again without good reason.
