Note: If you are thinking of using a different color for the border, I used approximately 365 yards for the lace section. I listed my two skeins separately as they were different dye lots purchased at different times so you should be able to get a decent idea of yardage.

If you are using hand dyed yarn, I would recommend switching skeins for the garter stitch border to avoid having to do any alternating.

For beginners - when the repeat starts with a cdd, you will have to move your stitch marker. It may look like you have a stitch leftover but don’t worry, that is correct.

I was not as good at weighing my yarn at each section as I had intended. Must get myself a portable scale. Went up a needle size to get gauge. Used all but 17gr of the first skein. Used all but 20gr of second skein for the garter stitch border.

April 4/16 - Used knit 2, ssk elastic bind off. Need to block then arrange with Flora to take good photos. If I can’t do that before the test deadline I will post better ones when I get back from California.

March 25/16 - Lace sections now done. Stitch count is correct. Such a beautiful stitch pattern. Looking forward to seeing it blocked out.

March 16/16 - Honoured to be chosen to test knit this gorgeous design. This is my first test knit. It will be a good challenge for me both with the all over lace body as well as meeting a 3 week deadline.
