A summer project…
at last!

Green at top (shoulder saddle + sleeves + neckline)
White & cream stripes only at top part to enhance shoulders…..

something in between a tunic or a dress?
cap sleeves..
something light and airy…

The shoulder saddle was quite annoying… I had to redo the sleeves 2-3 times to get it right!
But I like the enhancement of the shoulders with the green saddle + sleeves… next time I am going to use another texture stitch though (this one is a simple slip sts pattern)… it really made the short row construction of the sleeve cap unnecessarily hard!

First time I used darts in the front and the back this extensively to shape the dress… I really like the “tailored” result!

And the light cotton is incredible after washing… very soft and comfy - perfect for summer!!!
