Test knit notes:

2/20: Gauge Swatches
I started my gauge swatch down a needle size (to a 6) as I am a loose knitter but my gauge was still off (20 sts/30 rows was about 4.75 x 4.75 inches.

I went down another size (to a 5) and got closer to gauge (this time 20 sts = about 4.25 inches and 30 rows = about 4.5 inches). So, still a little bigger than the pattern calls for, but at this point it’s pretty dense and I’m worried if I go down another needle size the shawl will lack any sort of drape.

2/21: Set Up Completed
I’ve done a lot of garter tab cast ons, but never one with yos in it. Directions were clear and easy though, not an issue. The final set up row I had to re-read a few times to make sure I was doing it correctly, it reads little awkward but there is nothing wrong with it (other than the correction already listed).

2/21: Section 1 - Seed Stitch
Completed, no issues. Stitch counts listed after each increase row is nice.

2/21: Reverse Garter
Mistake in row 1? Yo after sm, not before? Checked correction, still confused.
Pattern says: Reverse Garter Row 1 (RS): K3, sm, YO, P to marker, sm, YO, K, sm, YO, P to marker, YO, sm, K3.
Confusion:
Correction says: K3, sm, YO, (P, K) to 1 st before marker, P, YO, sm, K3
I think it should be: Reverse Garter Row 1 (RS): K3, sm, YO, P to marker, YO, sm, K, sm, YO, P to marker, YO, sm, K3 (which is what the pattern states with just the correction for the YO, sm instead of the reversed sm, YO).

2/21: Section 3 - Cell Stitch Lace
Followed posted correction for row 1, no other issues found in this section.

2/22: Section 4 - Reverse Garter

2/23: Section 5 - Moss

2/23: Section 7 - Cell Stitch Lace
Finished off first skein of yarn on row 7 of first repeat.

2/25: Section 8 - Reverse Garter

WS rows should purl center stitch (not knit).
Already listed in the corrections when I looked.
Struggled with row 4, then realized there was another correction I had missed.

Finished second skein of yarn on row 7 of third repeat.

2/26: Section 10 - Reverse Garter

3/3: Section 11 - Cell Stitch Lace
Unfortunately I had to cut this section short by the last 4 rows.

I also had to cut out the last section of reverse garter because I ran out of yarn. I started out with 561 yards and used all of it. My gauge was a touch off even after going down to size 5 needles, but I had hoped any extra 21 yards was going to be enough… I played yarn chicken and lost.

Unblocked measurements: 46 inches x 23 inches
Blocked measurements: 64.5 inches x 26.5 inches
