5.7.12- I have yarn. Now I need to buy the pattern and invent a time turner. Or finish my sweater so I can start a shawl.

8.22.12- The yarn is caked. It was not the easiest job, either. But it’s ready. Now to decide when I’m going to cast this one on. might make for a good project when we’re in Antietam next month. We’ll see.

10.8.12- I’ve been making good progress but building resentment at the same time. When I realized what I really want to do is kill it with fire and dance on it’s grave, I decided it’s time to take a little break. I have 20 rows to go so the shawl will be finished, just when i am in a better frame of mind! Turns out circular shawls aren’t my thing. Valuable learning experience! And in the end I think this will be lovely and I’ll enjoy wearing it, I just need something to break up the monotony right now!

11.19.12- It’s done it’s done the cursed thing is done! Well, except for weaving in the ends and blocking. But screw it. it’s DONE! I have my size 5 sharp tips back, it is not on any sort of needle to taunt me. DONE
