This lion worked up really quickly! Next time, I would probably leave off the orange circles behind the eyes. I’m just not sure that they add anything.

The only other thing that I would recommend is to make sure that you make the pieces in the order that she has them listed in the pattern. I decided to save the cheeks and mouth for after I did the head, but it’s a lot easier to sew them on before you close up the back of the head. I ended up cutting the yarn for the head and then reattaching it. Also (if you’ve never done the loop stitch), make sure that you look up a youtube video of how to do it. I tried to follow the directions in the pattern and ended up doing it wrong. Oops… I think it’s sturdy enough though!
