3/13: All pieces finished! I marked the pattern as medium difficulty because, while the pattern itself is simple and straight forward with no real challenging shaping or instructions, the pattern itself takes some interpreting. There are no WS/RS indications, and that threw me a few times. You need a basic knowledge of how these garments should be made to figure out what has to happen as you are putting it all together - like you finish knitting the socks and it just says something like, ‘make an icord and assemble’.

So the pattern isn’t for beginners, but it all works and turned out lovely. I can’t wait for my niece to be born so she can wear this outfit!

3/6: Going to be making the entire set! My gauge is a little big so I’m making the newborn size.

The pattern is pretty bare bones and I had a little trouble changing to the pattern section of the dress - somehow I was on the wrong side when I started so I had to rip back. Once I figured it out it’s looking great!

Still using 2 strands of CC2 for the woven stitch, so it pops.

Also, knit the body of the dress flat because I couldn’t find size 4 16” circulars.
