The two pink yarns didn’t have labels, so I’m making an educated guess as to what they were.

I started with a row of 110 foundation sc stitches in the Soft White color and then followed the pattern as written. I worked the body of the blanket with an “I” hook and then switched to an “H” hook for the hdc rib border, but the gauge I was getting for the ribbing was causing the border to ripple. I didn’t want to go down another hook size (the resulting fabric would have been too stiff) so I ripped out the border and started over going back to the “I” hook and changing the ribbing to sc ribbing on the sides and hdc ribbing in the corners. This gave me a border that lies flat.
