This is a classic A-line sweater, which is the exact opposite of my body shape. But I love the open work and I’m a sucker for a cowl, so I cast on for 39.75, worked as written until waist, which in the pattern works straight up until the armholes. After the decreases, I worked up 1” like a standard sweater and am adding bust shaping back in.

6/4/15: Used 3 Needle Bind Off, ignoring the instruction of final row of reverse stockinette (not sure what that’s all about…) Body finished and now onto cowl.

6/7/15: Blocking! Pics 1 & 2 are post blocking, all others are pre-blocking. Modeled shots this fall…

Cowl instructions simplified:
Change needle sizes at rows 24 and 12.
