A hat I’ve been wanting to knit for ages in nice Scottish wool.

04/01 Got to the end of the green yarn so I’m stopping for now. I’ll be home in a few days where I can pick it back up and hopefully finish soon. It’s starting to knit ‘fairly’ quickly though I think that’s more that I’ve become more used to the snail’s pace that knitting a hat in fingering is.

26/12 I’d wanted to finish this by the end of December but also a total boob and forgot the second ball of the contrast yarn when I packed to go home for the holiday. So it will get as far as I can make it go and then be relegated to finishing later.
