Notes

ETA 2021-08-07: Never use this so I’m frogging it and will find something else to make with this glorious colourway.

General

  • Wonderfully relaxing knit and perfect for watching tv and socialising.
  • I have so much love for this colourway. The yarn itself is a little too twisty but I forgive it everything because of the wonderful colours!

Mods
- Knitted only 13 “complete” stripes to avoid having to buy more yarn.

Timeline
2015-02-04: Damn! I’ve made the first stripe of the straight section four rows too high. I really hope it won’t show in the finished shaw ‘cause I’m not ripping up the intervening two stripes and re-doing it.
2015-04-07: A knot in the second ball. First time this happened to me with this yarn.
2015-04-23: I hope I have enough yarn!
2015-04-24: No, I don’t, grrr! Descided the scarf was long enough with only 13 “complete” stripes and ripped up and started the decreases earlier. Now I’’ll hopefully have enough yarn. At least I managed to pick up all the stitches through the right loop this time :-)
2015-04-26: Finished!
