Test due 3/20.
First skein: 126g.
Second skein: 125g.
Third skein: 115g.
Fourth skein: 126g.
I bought 2 of the 4 skeins last week and the other 2 a few years ago when Hazel Knits first introduced this colorway. One of the skeins is noticeably lighter than the rest, so I’m going to alternate skeins on the body. Started alternating 2 of the skeins and decided to wind the last skein and use 3 skeins to alternate, 4th was for the sleeves.
13 sleeve chart repeats (excluding 5 repeats).
Work 5 seam repeats before starting increases.
Only worked 4 of the 8 increases: 88 sleeve stitches.
14.5 inches before starting faux gusset. 34 Chart 1 repeats. 67g (233yds) used on first sleeve.

Ordered a 5th skein just to be safe and able to blend before running out. Good thing I did, it was the last one from the same dyelot as my previous 2. Phew.

Skipped last waist decreases.

Completed the body and the faux gussets. Used 216g/751 yds before joining sleeves. Start Section C on Row 1 of Chart 1 and Row 7 of Chart 2.
Need to finish 2nd sleeve now! Can’t wait!

Finished second sleeve. 62g used on second sleeve. I guess I skipped some rows! Joining body to sleeves and going to bed.

Fucked up the decreases twice. Ripping back to the neckline bind off and trying again. Well, less ripping back and more unknitting because I’m afraid I’ll have a disaster trying to pick back up all the tiny stitches. Goal is to get back to the start of the decreases by Saturday morning and then knit like the wind to finish on Sunday. I should make the deadline with no problem!

Didn’t need the last skein. Finished with 5g left of the 4th. My neckline is a little wonky, I think I stretched it when sewing it down. Hoping I can get that out in the blocking. But I love the sweater! The underarms are super amazing.
