Notes

Half way between pick, pick, pick it up and tubey, this is going to be a seamless, open cardigan with some light shaping at the back and perhaps a moss stitch border. But I won’t know until I get to it.

13/09/09 - yep, that’s how it turned out. I’m getting a bit of curling at the bottom but eh. Whatever. It’s a nice fit and actually, it will just about meet at the front if I get a desperate urge to pin it. So it’s not 100% open. I also have about 2 balls of the yarn left so I could have done a full cardigan after all.

22/08/09 - I’d knitted the shoulder section (two skeins exactly) on 5.5 mm needles but a) the armholes were a bit on the tight side and b) I couldn’t find the 5.5mm circs I’d need for the picking up of stitches. So last night I started over again on 6mms, and today have whirled my way through, doing the shoulders and 2 skeins into the back. My hands ache, but the shoulders fit much better.
