This super simple, slouchy hat can be made in an evening or two while watching tv. It take less than a skein of yarn and any worsted - aran weight will work. I like it in long striping variegated yarns but solids would look nice too.

This is the first pattern I’ve ever tried to publish or even written as more than personal notes. It’s for a simple chevron head band that is fastened with a button. It does not require much yarn and the length can easily be adjusted from child size to adult by adding or subtracting rows when noted.
