This size is completely customisable. Use whatever size hook and yarn you choose – see pattern for calculating starting chain. Hook and yarn provided are applicable to size example provided.

Errata:

This is a ribbed preemie and NB sized vest, designed to be able to fit small babies while allowing extra stretch to easily pull on and grow with the child. Check with your local hospital/NICU/neonates to make sure it is suitable for donation (most have their own preferences).
