To me october is always a “once upon a time in West’s world” month. I kept up the tradition this year. Stephen West is a designer whose creativity is legendary. Knitting his designs is not only a fun and colorful moment. It also allows to go beyond the usual boundaries and offers the opportunity to learn new techniques.

Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These mitts were born out of two wishes. First, to honor each and every people who participated in creating a local, Norman and authentic wool. Hence, my creating a “maritime” pattern. The Chausey color made me want to include foam in the waves, as well as a lighthouse.
