Traveling is one of my favorites—seeing new places, meeting new people, tasting new foods, and capturing it all with my camera. I love the experience of it, the lasting memories that enrich my life and change how I see the world, and even myself.

Jane Bennet strikes me as elegant in a quiet sort of way, soft-spoken yet not without desires and opinions. I like to think of her after becoming Mrs. Bingley, wondering if wealth would change her or if she would continue in her quiet manner. I think she would, but I believe her elegance would be more noticed by others.

I suppose you’re wondering who Scarlett is. Well, I’ll tell you. She is the little sister of the main character in the first novel I published, titled The Seer. It’s a contemporary fiction novel with a sci-fi twist and some other cool stuff. And throughout the course of the novel, the main character, Sterling, is knitting a pair of gray gloves ...

Step with me into the delightfully colorful life of Elizabeth Bennet, whom I much prefer to call Lizzie. I hope you find much to enjoy and much to learn as we delve into Lizzie’s personality through the knitting of this shawlette. Can you imagine her wearing something similar on one of her much-loved walks? Would she have worn it to Pemberley, ...
