Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Thomasina’s lace panels are simple enough to make it a quick knit while the heel and toe design add a little extra challenge. They are knit toe up with a wrap/turn short row heel. The large portions of stockinette and simple lace make this the perfect pattern to show off yarns with subtle color variations.
Knitting: Legwarmers
These leg warmers are the perfect accessory for your little girl for autumn and winter. They can be worn over tights, under jeans, or just with a skirt, as pictured. They are simple to knit but the mohair makes them super-fancy and extra warm. If you have an aspiring ballerina, these will be a big hit!
Knitting: Socks - Other
Hunca Munca is a collection of three sweet baby socks. These are the perfect use for all that leftover sock yarn. The patterns are versatile: gauge isn’t terribly important, you can use any sock yarn, and you can make them bigger or smaller by changing yarn and needles. Try them in Christmas colors and hang them on your tree!
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Nutkin is an easy to memorize pattern with dramatic results. Although the pattern includes many YOs, the sock does not appear lacey. Great for subtle striping yarns, like the one pictured here.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Twinkleberry is a simple lace and cable sock pattern that is easy to memorize. The simple garter cuff shows off the subtle scallop effect caused by the stitch pattern. This sock has a short row heel and toe. The pattern includes instructions for cabling without a cable needle.
