Crochet: Scarf
While traveling, I particularly enjoy working on straightforward projects that are easy to pick up for a few minutes (or a few hours) at a time. Robin’s Scarf was designed to be this type of project.
Knitting: Hats - Other
This hat was inspired by the shape of a yurt, the traditional dwelling for the nomads that live on the steppes in Central Asia. Because the pattern is worked from the top down, it is possible to adjust the fit of the hat as you go to suit the intended wearer.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The Shell Point Shawlette was inspired by Sanibel Island, a unique barrier island along the gulf-coast of Florida that is known for beautiful sandy beaches and an abundance of seashells. Wear this crescent-shaped shawlette like a scarf to keep your neck warm and cozy during chilly weather any time of year.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
The Downeast region of Maine is renowned for its historic lighthouses, rocky coastline, and wildlife habitat. This shawlette was inspired by the natural beauty of Downeast Maine, and is the perfect accessory to help prevent a chill during cool weather any time of the year.
Knitting: Scarf
Summers on the Gold Coast of Long Island, New York are famous for being glamorous. Though the days are wonderfully warm, the nights can be a bit chilly. This summer scarf is the perfect accessory to wear for a variety of events, from exclusive cocktail parties to neighborhood clam bakes or romantic picnics on the beach.
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern was inspired by Miss Morland, the heroine in Jane Austen’s novel, Northanger Abbey. I sought to create a scarf that was simple enough for everyday, yet elegant enough to wear to the theatre.
Knitting: Booties
All newborn babies should have a pair of handknitted baby booties. These booties were inspired by the countless pairs that my great-grandmother Lois knit for her grandchildren.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Pattern is written for a US women’s 8 shoe size, but can easily be adjusted to fit a different size.
